CAMPAIGN 11
Execution of Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session and interaction with the indigenous underprivileged women regarding their menstrual hygiene and problems they use to face during those days. Along with this the distribution of sanitary napkins among 100 tribal women were also executed on 12th November, 2022 in Laudaha, Jhargram, West Bengal.
CAMPAIGN 12
On 13th November, 2022 a workshop on Women Menstrual Hygiene was executed in Malapada, a remote village of Jhargram, West Bengal where there is not even proper toilet facility available. Other than this on the same day, about 100 sanitary napkins were distributed among the village tribal women who attended the session .
CAMPAIGN 37
Pitrashish Foundation organised a Menstrual hygiene camp to dispel myths and educate participants on the importance of proper hygiene practices, explaining how using cloth or other unsuitable materials can be harmful. The team emphasized the use of sanitary napkins; stressing that they should be changed every 4 to 5hours and disposed properly additionally they highlighted the importance of washing the genital area regularly to prevent infections. More than 600 sanitary napkins and soaps were distributed at Salboni , Dalkjathi, Monapara village, Jhargram West Bengal on 30th March,2024
CAMPAIGN 38
On 31st March 2024, during the Menstruation awareness camp at Balichua Belpahari -Jhargram, West Bengal with 100 women, we were surprised to learn that 80 pct women rely on clothes instead of sanitary napkins , prompting us to discuss the health risks associated with this practice and educate them on menstrual hygiene to promote well-being . Disposal of napkins was also explained. Distributed free sanitary napkins and soaps for two months.
CAMPAIGN 39
On our 1st visit to this remote tribal village Kadamadiha of Nayagram Block Jhargram on 27th April, 2024, 50 women attended the Menstruation Hygiene camp. The camp concluded by distributing free sanitary napkins, soaps and shampoo sachet. The village women expressed their commitment to use sanitary napkins and avoid other means which can cause infections.
CAMPAIGN 40
In Shiarabinda tribal village located in Belpharai Jhargram District of West Bengal, where poverty is widespread and woman traditionally rely on alternative materials during menstruation, a menstrual hygiene camp was held for around 65 women and girls on 28th April, 2024. Sanitary pads , soaps and sachet of shampoos were donated in the camp.

We are thrilled to share our recent achievements in the villages of Suyabasa and Dohijuri, Jhargram, West Bengal on 27th July,2024.
we spread awareness about menstruation cycles to 65 ladies, helping them feel comfortable discussing this crucial topic and providing them with menstrual pads.

On 25th August - Pitrashish Foundation organised a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Camp at Village Dhangri ( Jhargram - West Bengal) with 200 women and girls . The goal was to create a supportive environment and encourage open conversations about menstruation. This camp provided hygiene kits, including sanitry pads and soaps to the participants
