AAO SCHOOL CHALE

To build a better tomorrow has always been the “Mantra” for us at Pitrashish Foundation. We believe that Education is one of the most important Rights and the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the Society. It is one of the most significant steps that will help in achieving all other basic human rights. Education can reduce social inequalities, empower women, bring down discrimination and finally help individuals live life to their fullest potentials. “Pitrashish Foundation”- started its journey with a Vision to ensure quality education for children, who cannot afford to attend school, or are drop outs from school due to family obligations. The purpose was to improve the lives of underprivileged and marginalized women and children through Child Education. On its endeavour to forward a helping hand in the development of Children education, Pitrashish Foundation team identified Villages in Jhargram , West Bengal . The inhabitants of these villages in Jhargram are basically tribal and are being deprived of their basic needs. “AAo School Chalee” – is a movement of “Pitrashish Foundation “ where our mission is to help and support Children through Education . The foundation has initiated various Educational campaigns , road shows for these underprivileged children and parents of different tribal villages of Jhargram, West Bengal to create the awareness and importance of education so that the Child can enjoy a healthy childhood , avoid child marriage and can create a better tomorrow for themselves . Through this campaign, the foundation is also working on retention of children in school and trying their best to avoid drop outs of the children, especially girl child. The team members are engaged in counselling parents and students who are drop outs and addresses their needs and motivates the children to complete their education by getting them back to their schools and institutions. As Nelson Mandela said - “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world” - We too at Pitrashish Foundation have been helping Children to understand the importance of education in life and have extended all possible helps like providing the students books, copies, pen, pencils etc so that they receive all facilities which will shape the future of these tribal students and make them responsible citizens of our Motherland.

CAMPAIGN 1

Regular free coaching classes by experienced teachers for more than 100 slum children along with free study materials in Upavan School, Madurdaha, Kolkata.

CAMPAIGN 2

Execution of Educational Awareness Program by Pitrashish Foundation in Laudaha village of Jhargram subdivision, West Bengal on 5th March,2022 which included the distribution of free study materials among more than 400 backward tribal children of the locality and also motivational program to encourage the school drop outs to return back to the school to complete their education.

CAMPAIGN 3

Educational Awareness Campaign by Pitrashish Foundation in Dhangri village of Jhargram subdivision, West Bengal on 6th March, 2022.In this campaign the foundation provided free study materials among more than 250 indigenous financially challenged tribal children and also an awareness speech to motivate those children to complete their education in a proper way.

CAMPAIGN 29

Pitrashish Foundation and The Jagriti Welfare Trust , a Dehradun based most presitigious organisation established over 55 years ago , partnered for some noble activities promoting Education . Both the organisation together on 26th March 2024 , distributed uniforms to 72 students at a government primary school in Dehradun , Uttarakhand to encourage students to attend school regularly . Recognising the importance of education for a student’s future , Pitrashish Foundation organised a scholarship program to financially support students in continuing their studies .

Pitrashish Foundation during the event announced that every year this scholarship to support the students will be given or any activity for the development of the students will be done in the memory of Late Ram Prakash –who was the founder general secretary of the Jagriti Welfare Trust and was a social worker and a regular blood donor.

CAMPAIGN 30

Pitrashish Foundation Team’s second visit to Dalkathi Primary School located at Dalkathi, Lodhapara Jhargram West Bengal on 30th March 2024. The team spent a wonderful time with the tribal students doing activity with colours, identifying names of fruits, domestic and wild animals, counting numbers etc. At the end the team gifted study materials and food packets to encourage them. An Educational awareness camp also held in Salboni , Jhargram West Bengal , with the aim of instilling a love of learning in local students and encouraging them to attend school regularly . 150 young ones participated in the camp and received food packets and study materials.

In the continuous effort to promote Education, Pitrashish Foundation this time undertook a visit to a remote tribal Village – Kadamadiha of Nayagram Block Jhargram on 27th April,2024 . More than 100 Children received Food packets and Study kits comprising of copies , pencil , eraser and sharpner .

CAMPAIGN 32

Shiarabinda in Chakdoba is a remote tribal village in Belpahari, Jhargram District of West Bengal . On 28th Apri,2024 Pitrashish team conducted an Educational awareness camp with 96 children at the primary School premises. The camp ended with distribution of study kits comprising of copies, pencils, sharpener, and eraser along with dry food packets to encourage the students to continue their school which will provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Spreading joy is what truly makes us happy. Pitrashish Foundation team had the privilege of spending quality time with children at a Kolkata orphanage on 12th March 2024. We were amazed by their performances, and to further encourage their education, we distributed school bags and educational materials.

Distribution of Class XI Curriculum Books to the underprivileged Meritious students on 18th May,2024. These students were from different villages of Jhargram , but today they were together with a pledge that they will fulfil their dreams in life with good education .
Gratitude to " Ek Mutho Swapna Parivaar " - an organisation in Gopibhallavpur who indentified this meritious students and together with Pitrashish Foundation handed over the Curriculum Science Stream Books.

CAMPAIGN 37

Pitrashish Foundation has launched the Pitrashish Kishalay Coaching Centre in Doasty village west Medinipur, on 17th July,2024 to support talented yet underprivileged children. Currently, 62 students from nursery to 10th grade are receiving vital coaching to help them excel. The foundation has also distributed fruit plants, teaching kids how to care for them so they can reap the benefits in a short span. Together, Pitrashish Foundation is empowering the next generation through education and community support! 🌱📚

CAMPAIGN 38

We are thrilled to share our recent achievements in the villages of Suyabasa and Dohijuri, Jhargram, West Bengal on 27th July,2024. For the first time in our 3-year journey, our dedicated volunteers made a significant impact by encouraging 31 students to attend school and motivating them to pursue education in Suyabasa.
In Dohijuri, our volunteers spoke to 60 children who were engaged in begging. We tried our best to convince them to go to school for a brighter future and stop begging. These efforts mark a proud moment for Pitrashish Foundation as we continue to strive for positive change in our communities.
